Greystones Community College Open Night

On Thursday 29th September 2022 at 6.30pm Greystones Community College will present a fantastic opportunity for prospective students and their parents or guardians to visit the College, meet students and staff and to see the excellent learning facilities available there. Greystones Community College Welcomes New First Years

Céad Míle Fáilte to all the new first years students who joined Greystones Community College for the academic year 2022/23.

The student ambassador team were ready to meet and welcome all five new classes of 1st year students joining the GCC school community that morning, with support and advice for the year ahead. Each one of those students have already come far since they started their induction programme last week. The school wishes students and their families many happy years of respect, excellence and pride on their education journey at GCC.

Student Leadership Team Elections at Greystones Community College

Campaigning is now well underway for the Student Leadership Team Elections. Interested candidates are hard at work creating campaign materials, including posters and speeches. Students from all year groups are welcome to step forward and interest to date has been very high. The Student Leadership Team will once again be led this year by Ms. Jessica Carroll, and the elected Team will undertake a body of work throughout the academic year in assisting management with key decisions related to the smooth running of Greystones Community College. Voting will occur on Monday 12th September and the outcome will be communicated soon after, allowing the Leadership Team to get straight to work!

Extracurricular Activities at Greystones Community College

The new school year has gotten off to a wonderful start as the calendar of Extracurricular Activities has grown exponentially. Students this year will be able to join a very wide range of clubs to suit their many interests. New additions to the offering include Tennis, Horse-riding, a Cards Club, Dance Club and Ukelele Club, to name only a few! Perennial favourites such as GAA, Soccer and Athletics remain as well as many more. GCC recognises the individuality of its students and their unique and the school are excited to see students shine in their chosen hobbies and interests as the year progresses
