SCHOOL PLACES UPDATE
The Board of Management of Greystones Community College are delighted to announce that the school is now in a position to offer an additional 48 school places for 1st year, September 2024. The Board are confident that this move will alleviate some of the pressure that is currently being felt in the Greystones area due to the shortage of school places.
The Board of Management were pleased to take this decision after meeting with Kildare and Wicklow Education and Training Board on Feb 8th, where correspondences from the Department of Education provided reassurance on addressing potential challenges which had been previously raised. We now look forward to welcoming an additional 48 new students to join our vibrant and dynamic school.
The whole school community at Greystones Community College look forward to receiving positive news from the Department of Education in relation to the progression of the permanent building for the College in the coming weeks.
