Greystones Community College will adopt a partnership approach with parents and guardians, who we recognise as the primary educators of their children. Parents will be encouraged to take an active role in their child’s education throughout their time at the school. An active, democratically elected Parents’ Council will be established early in the life of the school. This parent leadership team will represent the overall parent body. They will be very involved in the school's development and provide an excellent support for the school and its students. Our college welcomes parents into the educational experience of their children and always values their input and involvement.
Greystones Community College currently have a parent leadership team who meet once every 6 weeks. This group provides valuable support and ideas on the development and establishment of the new school.
