Maths Support Centre at Greystones Community College
As we near the end of the academic year, more students than ever are attending the Maths Support Centre after school. As students complete final revision ahead of their end of term exams next week, the centre is more valuable than ever. Thanks to Ms Devlin and Ms Wray who volunteer in the Maths centre every week after school to help the students with topic revision and challenge questions.
Greystones Community College Student Ambassador Team for 2022/2023
Congratulations to the newly appointed Greystones Community College Student Ambassador Team for 2022/2023. The ambassadors will be the friendly and supportive faces that will meet our new 1st year students and support them with their transition to secondary school. It is a great honour to be selected as a student ambassador and we know these students will represent the school with distinction in their new leadership roles. What great role models for our school community! Congratulations to Emily, Ronan, Ena, Matthew, Angelica, Freya, Sara, Evan, Abigail, Seren, Aaron and Isobel.
Greystones Tidy Towns and Nature's Way Wellbeing at Greystones Community College
This week the 1st year students completed their final day of volunteering with Greystones Tidy Towns as part of their Nature's Way Wellbeing Module. The school is very proud of their work on the community area on Mill Road which they have committed to improving every week this year. Thanks also to the volunteers of Greystones Tidy Towns, from whom our students have learnt so much. We are looking forward to continuing this collaboration next year with new and existing students
