Sports Update at GCC

Well done to the Greystones Community College girls GAA team, who represented the school in a game against our neighbours in St David’s Holy Faith Secondary School this week. The tram gave it their all on the day. This week, Greystones Community College also opened the minor league football competition. The girls controlled the first half and led by three goals at half time. Unfortunate second-half injuries allowed the opposing team to recover, and the game ended with a score of 5-4. Congratulations to all participating girls, and many thanks to Loreto Bray for a great game. Finally, well done to the boys in their minor match against East Glendalough School this week, when they gave their all but were outplayed on this occasion.
