Get creative and enhance our school environment!
Greystones Tidy Towns has had fantastic success with a recent initiative with local post primary schools which involved painting electrical cabinets on street corners. A number of our students have already used their artistic talents to brighten up our community. We are very proud of them. Such was the success of the initiative, Greystones Community College wants to embrace it and give our students the opportunity to enhance our school environment.
We have identified a number of electrical boxes on the school grounds which we would love to see our students put their own stamp on prior to returning to school in August. The school will supply the paint and materials and we are seeking artistic students who would volunteer their time to get creative and brighten up our school. We would ask that any art work is inspired by Greystones Community College and fits with the theme, culture, vision and values of our school.
If you are up to the challenge, please submit an draft sketch of art work to gcc@kwetb.ie by August 1st 2023. We envisage the painting will be completed between August 7th and August 18th. We would encourage as many students as possible to get involved and submit some art work. What a great way to spend a few days of the holidays!
