GRESYTONES COMMUNITY COLLEGE PARTNERSHIP WITH REAL MADRID FOUNDATION & SEK
Greystones Community College are proud to be the first school in Ireland to partner with Real Madrid Foundation and SEK International School to provide a Football Education Programme for 4th year students. As part of this programme, students will have the opportunity to work with a Head Coach from Real Madrid Foundation over a 10 month period to improve their football skills through weekly training, work experience and potential international trips.
The programme will involve physical preparation, video analysis, training equipment and Real Madrid team kits. 2025/2026 is the first year of the programme and the focus of the initiative will be on the core values of respect, self esteem, health, agency, fellowship and motivation. From the Educational Football Program of the Real Madrid Foundation in Ireland, participants are taught with in a comprehensive methodology, to ensure the best experience for our players.
The Real Madrid Foundation (RMF) training methodology is featured as global and encompasses five core principles: Physical, Technical, Tactical, and Psychological development, as well as instilling the Real Madrid Foundation Values. By integrating these five key areas, we ensure that our players receive education beyond football, preparing them for success in all aspects of life.

Founded in 1997 we are the social arm of the Real Madrid Football Club, established with the aim of promoting the values inherent in sport, such as respect, teamwork, discipline, or inclusion. Our educational and social programs worldwide, the Foundation uses the power of sport—especially football—as a tool for positive change. By working with schools and community organizations, it helps foster personal development, social integration, and equal opportunities for children and young people, regardless of their background or circumstances.
