School Reopening 2022
Greystones Community College was in the fortunate position to be able to fully reopen for all students on Thursday January 6th 2022. There were a very small number of students and staff who could not attend school in person but students who were isolating could join their classes live from home. Teaching and learning continued across all classes.
Parent Teacher Student Meetings
January is the month for our 1st year parent teacher student meetings. Meetings will be held virtually using Google Meet, the schools ICT platform. Parents will get the opportunity to have short face to face meetings with all of their child’s core teachers where formative feedback will be provided and goals set for future improvement. We look forward to collaborating with our parent body at the individual meetings on January 13th (1Byrne and 1Carroll) and January 20th (1Hamilton and 1 Milner).
School Choir
Well Done to the Greystones Community College Choir who performed some songs outdoors for parents, students and staff to mark the start of the Christmas holidays. It was lovely to hear the lovely voices in the grounds of the College. Special mention to the Chamber Choir who also performed.
